Geelong has finalised its playing list for 2024 after bringing in eight new faces during the off-season.

The Cats recruited seven players during the AFL National and Rookie drafts, picking up Connor O’Sullivan, Mitch Edwards, Shaun Mannagh, George Stevens, Oli Wiltshire, Lawson Humphries and Emerson Jeka.

203cm ruckman and former basketballer Joe Furphy signed with the club as a Category B rookie in September.

Along with finalising the list – Geelong has also revealed what number each of the new recruits will be wearing.

The Cats already revealed on draft night last week that first-round pick Connor O’Sullivan would wear Joel Selwood’s famous number 14.

“We are pleased to finalise our playing list for 2024 and we are excited to see what this group can do under the guidance of the coaching group,” Cats Football Manager Andrew Mackie said.

“Selecting seven players across the Draft period was a key outcome for us this offseason,” he said.

“With a strong mix of players on our list, we are excited to see our experienced players not just continue to impact on-field but also instil their leadership and professionalism off-field to continue the growth and development of our younger players and wider football program.”
