Black Mirror is back for a seventh season, and I need to be honest: with everything going on in the world right now I’m not sure this is what I need in my life right now. But damn it you just know I’m going to torture myself with these great but depressing stories when it releases on April 10th. This season will feature talented stars such as Emma Corin, Rashida Jones, Paul Giamatti, and Chris O’Dowd. This season will also give us a sequel to the popular “USS Callister” Star Trek parody episode back from the fourth season.

The Last of Us – April 14th (Binge)

After the huge critical success that was the first season, The Last of Us returns for its second season on April 14th. The story, as it appears based on the trailers, will follow the highly controversial second game in the series. Whilst it’s not confirmed how closely it’ll follow the story of the second game it will still deal with the consequences of Joel’s decisions at the end of the first season. Good luck to all as this is sure to be an incredibly difficult and confronting season to watch. Thinking I might just save myself the emotional turmoil and instead go play a round of golf…

Andor – April 22nd (Disney+)

Cassian Andor is back baby. Although the first season flew under the radar for many, the Star Wars political thriller has grown a bit of a dedicated cult following. Having moved away from Jedi and the Force, Andor grew popular due to its brilliant characters and compelling tone and writing. The second has been confirmed to be its last, which is disappointing but unsurprising as, spoiler alert, we do already know how Andor’s story concludes thanks to Rogue One.
